Antonio Abondio

(1538–1591)
Antonio Abondio (1538-1591) was the son of Alessandro Abondio, a celebrated wax modeller, who introduced his son to the art of modelling. Antonio worked in the courts of Emperor Maximilian II; spent nearly all his life in Prague and Vienna and exercised a great influence on the development of the later German-Austrian school.
